When you use the CO2exist App or Website, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you sign up or log in.

• Payment Information: When you subscribe or make payments, Razorpay processes your UPI, debit/credit card, or other payment details. We do not store full payment details on our servers.

• Usage Data: Interactions with the App/Website, session duration, and activity logs to improve performance.

• Device & Technical Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and unique identifiers for analytics and security.

• Location Information:
  • Approximate location information (such as city or area) derived from IP address, device settings, or user-provided address details, used to enable service availability, pickup planning, and operational coordination.
  • Location details voluntarily provided by users while requesting services such as plastic pickup, tree plantation, or gift delivery.
  • We do not continuously track precise real-time location unless explicitly required for a specific feature and permitted by the user through device permissions.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:

• Provide and improve App and Website functionality

• Authenticate users and secure accounts

• Process payments and manage subscriptions

• Monitor usage for analytics, performance, and bug fixing

• Comply with legal, regulatory, and security obligations

• To schedule and coordinate service requests such as pickups or deliveries
• To assign service personnel or partners

• Supabase (hosting, authentication, database services)

• Razorpay (payment processing)

• Google Play Services (in-app billing, crash reporting, push notifications)

• Apple App Store Services (in-app purchases, notifications, crash reporting)

• Location Data Sharing:
  • Location-related information, where applicable, may be shared only on a need-to-know basis with internal teams or trusted service partners solely for fulfilling requested services.
  • We do not sell or commercially share location data with third parties.

These third parties process data only on our behalf and under strict confidentiality agreements.
We may also share information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Data Storage and Retention

• User data is stored securely on Supabase servers, which may be located outside your country.

• We retain data for as long as you maintain an account.

• If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless longer retention is required by law.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• All communications are encrypted with HTTPS/TLS/RLS

• Sensitive data is encrypted at rest where applicable

• Access controls ensure only authorized systems and staff can access data

Terms & Conditions - CO2exist App

1. Acceptance of Terms

• By accessing or using this application and its services, the user agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.•

• If the user does not agree, they must not use the application or services.

2. Plastic Collection & Sale

• The user confirms that they are the lawful owner of the plastic provided and are voluntarily selling it to us.

• The user confirms that the plastic is not stolen, disputed, hazardous, or subject to any third-party claim.

• Plastic must meet our cleanliness and segregation guidelines, which may be updated from time to time.

• We reserve the right to accept or reject any material at the time of pickup or during verification.

3. Ownership Transfer & Waiver of Rights

• Upon collection and payment, full ownership of the plastic irrevocably transfers to us and becomes our sole property.

• The user permanently waives all present and future rights, claims, and entitlements of any nature whatsoever arising from or associated with the collected plastic.

• This includes, without limitation, any environmental, recycling, regulatory, incentive-based, credit-based, or similar benefits, whether existing now or introduced in the future.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is based on verified weight and applicable rates displayed or communicated at the time of transaction.

• Rates may be revised at our discretion without prior notice.

• Payments may be adjusted, delayed, or withheld if material is found to be contaminated, misrepresented, or non-recyclable.

5. Nature of Relationship

• We act solely as a buyer of material.

• Nothing in these terms creates any agency, partnership, employment, joint venture, or fiduciary relationship between the user and us.

6. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for rejected material, delayed or missed pickups, access issues, or conditions at the pickup location.

• We are not liable for any loss of earnings, benefits, claims, or entitlements arising from or related to any environmental, recycling, regulatory, incentive-based, or similar programs.

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

• Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid to the user for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

7. Indemnity

• The user agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, penalties, losses, or damages arising from false ownership, misrepresentation, regulatory violations, or third-party disputes related to material provided.

8. Compliance & Disclaimer of Responsibility

• We operate solely as a buyer of material and expressly disclaim any responsibility, obligation, or liability relating to regulatory compliance, reporting, approvals, or requirements, whether arising before or after the sale of material.

9. Tree Plantation Contributions

• Where the application allows users to contribute money for tree plantation, such contributions are voluntary and made at the amount displayed at the time of payment, which may be revised at our discretion.

•  Contributions are used to facilitate plantation activities through internal or partner processes.

• Issuance of a certificate serves only as an acknowledgment of contribution and does not confer ownership, legal rights, or enforceable claims.

• We do not guarantee survival rates, growth, timelines, environmental impact, or outcomes of plantation activities.

• Delays, substitutions, or changes due to operational, climatic, regulatory, or partner-related factors shall not constitute grounds for refund.

• Plantation contributions are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.

10. Gift Certificates

• Gift certificates funded by users and issued on their behalf are acknowledgments or goodwill instruments only and do not carry cash value unless explicitly stated.

• Gift certificates may be subject to validity periods, usage conditions, or redemption limitations.

• We are not responsible for non-delivery, misuse, incorrect recipient details, or failure to redeem due to user-provided information or third-party limitations.

• Gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable unless expressly stated otherwise.

11. Challenges, Coins & Rewards

• The application may offer voluntary daily or periodic challenges intended for awareness or engagement purposes only.

• Challenge completion is self-declared by users and is not independently verified or tracked by us.

• Coins or points issued for challenge completion are discretionary and have no monetary value.

• Coins, points, or rewards do not constitute property, earnings, or guaranteed entitlements.

• Coupons or benefits issued in exchange for accumulated coins are subject to availability, partner terms, validity, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice.

•  Any misuse, manipulation, or false declarations may result in forfeiture of rewards or suspension of access.

12. Suspension & Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the application or services in case of misuse, fraud, or non-compliance with these terms.

13. Changes to Terms

• These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.

• Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

• Courts in Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
